Year 2 – Advanced Clinical Practice & Applications

  • Clinical Optometry / General Examination – Comprehensive eye evaluations using advanced tools
  • Ocular Pathology & Ophthalmic Diseases – Cataract, glaucoma, retinal disorders, and related pathology
  • Contact Lens Fitting & Care – Different lens types (soft, RGP, toric), fitting techniques, hygiene, and managing complications
  • Binocular Vision & Dispensing Optics – Vision alignment, PD measurement, spectacles prescription, frame fitting, lens selection and materials
  • Ophthalmic Instrumentation – Mastery of clinical instruments and diagnostic tools
  • Community Health Optometry & Ethics – Conducting vision camps, eye health education, legal and ethical considerations
